I have never been satisfied with my hair considering that I have had all types of treatments, tried different hair length — from bob cut-short to hip-long, almost all shades of colors — from jet black to ash blonde and considering that I have almost all hair tools!

I can go instantly from straightening to curling to blow-drying, yep, I can do it all. Yet, I’ve never looked at the mirror and told myself “WOW! This is the hair that I want to have for the rest of my life!” I have had my fair share of salons who tried to satisfy me but unfortunately I’ve never been satisfied.

I JUST WANT A HEALTHY-LOOKING VOLUMINOUS CURLS! IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK!?!?!?

Thank heavens, I heard about blo blow dry bar! The only regret I have is that it took me this long to finally try the salon that will answer my biggest hair wish! Well, it’s not a salon, really. What they offer is blow.dry.go — literally. This concept is not new anymore. It originated in North America and it was a hit as they like having their hair blow dried even just for casual days. What a genius concept because not everyone wants to have their hair cut and colored just to achieve the look that they want. Some people, just like me, wants to have a great hair day without having to sit for bajillion hours in the salon.

I was dying to try blo’s service because I can’t blo myself (Hahaha! No pun intended!). No, really. My aunt gave me this super big Conair curler and I thought it will answer all my hair wishes but nah, the curls look good but it made my hair stiff and I can’t comb through it. That’s when I decided to try blo blow dry bar. 

I went to their Serendra branch because it’s just walking distance from my place. It was sort of hard to find but you know you’re there when you see Sentro 1771 restaurant. There’s a stair opposite of the restaurant and you’ll just have to go to the 2nd floor.

It’s so chic!!! Love at first sight! I was then greeted by their friendly staff and since my friend and I are still waiting for someone, I took the liberty to roam around the bar and take a picture of the place.

The place is sobrang sosyal-looking talaga. You wouldn’t believe that their service is just 500 pesos only. I mean, you might think, “What? 500 pesos only?! For just a simple ironing and styling?!” Woah, woah, woah. Calm your tittays, girly! I’ll explain later in this post why 500 pesos is such a steal!!!

Super clean, nice ventilation, spacious and yes, they have free wi-fi. Super fast that you can torrent! Haha.

When we arrive, there were already two beautiful ladies having their hair done. I was so amazed how at how it looked after that I already volunteered to have mine done next.

So, okay. Before the bloers (stylists) blow dry your hair to perfection, you will given a hair menu! Cutie, right? You can choose from these different styles or you can even show your pegs — which I did — and they will achieve it for you.

 To achieve the look that I want, first, my bloer shampooed my hair to remove excess oil.

After shampooing, they blow dried my hair and added some fancy hair products. They use top and expensive brands which makes me so kilig! I feel like I’m so pampered.

It’s my first time to try sea salt spray and I thought it will be drying and harsh. Boy, was I wrong. It made my hair volumized and full and it still feels darn soft!!! You can buy that same product at any blo branches. Trust me, you’ll love it. Better than spray or mousse!

Oh, have I already told you. You will be literally pampered! Unlimited complimentary lemonade / coffee, anyone?

My friends and I also enjoyed our pizza we ordered. So, yes. You can have your snacks while having your hair blo’d! What a fun bonding, right?

The curls pictured above wasn’t combed through yet so it looks so defined. Once they ran their fingers through my hair, it looked like this.

That was my 2PM hair. 

And it lasted the WHOLE DAY and even the next day until I showered it. It was so soft! I want to cry!

Freakin shiny and healthy-looking hair. It’s more than the 500 pesos’ worth! My hair has never looked this beautiful!

I didn’t wash my hair the next day and it still looked like this 48 hours later. FAB! I was told by random people (saleslady, friends, strangers) that I look like a Korean. Yay!
