One thing you should know about me is that I’m VERY frugal. I don’t spend money with things I do not need. So imagine how many times I contemplate on buying this much raved hairbrush. For just a hairbrush, PHP1,110.00 / $25 is too steep and sounds unreasonable but buying this says a lot about this brush. First of all, it’s not just a hairbrush. IT’S THE BEST HAIR TOOL YOU WILL EVER OWN IN YOUR LIFE AND YOU WON’T LOOK BACK ANYMORE. O M G! I just can’t contain my feelings!!!!!!! IT’S THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t even breathe!!!

I first found out about this miracle hair tool through my sister. She just purchased the contender of THE Tangle Teezer, the Michel Mercier brush. I was impressed but it was too bulky and reviews say that TT (Tangle Teezer) is 100000x better than the Michel Mercier one. When I saw the price of this little hairbrush, I was floored. I said “I WOULDN’T SPEND 1K+ ON A HAIRBRUSH. EVER.” It took me 3-4 months to finally cave in! Again, in the battle of vanity vs. frugality, vanity won.

If you know me, you know that my hair is the WORST. Super damaged and knotty and just plain mop-ish. I bleached, dyed, rebonded, treated my hair countless times and no matter what I do, it would never look good and healthy. I always put my hair in bun as my hair is already growing and my curly roots are already showing. I brush my hair once a month only. I know, you can judge me now. I had my hair rebonded recently and this triggered me to finally buy the TT.

I never ever tried anything that detangled my hair in one go. I just want to cry when I tried it. My skeptical friend told me that I was fooled for buying this gimmicky piece of thang but when she tried it on me, she was shocked. It indeed detangled my hair with zero pain and zero hair fall.

I don’t know what type of sorcery is in this thing but it’s not a normal hairbrush. Maybe the magic lies in its magical bristles. The creator of this is a genius! I would pay thrice the price for this and I will buy this all over again!!! I AM IN LOVE!!!!!!!!!! Plus, the range of colors is fantastic! I chose this pink and black one because it looks fun!

I purchased the Compact Style one rather than the Original which costs PHP900.00 and the Salon Elite which costs PHP950.00 because I’m always on-the-go and would like to bring this with me. This Compact Style features a cap/cover that protects the brush from being caught in any piece of your bag and this happens to me EVERYTIME — my earphones always get stuck in my hairbrush. With just a little additional bucks from the Original one, I could have this travel-friendly brush.

I washed my hair for the first time after I had it rebonded three days ago. As expected, my hair is fragile because of the chemicals and looking at it and touching it, it feels rubbery and can break anytime. I tried combing using my fingers and it broke into 1000 different strands lol but with this one, NADA! I literally orgasm-ed!!!! HAHAHA!!
